The México Lindo story began when Antonio and Leonor met in New York in the summer of 1959. After traveling to Mexico to introduce Antonio to Leonor's family, they decided to bring authentic Mexican cuisine to New York City. México Lindo Restaurant was opened in 1972, along with the birth of their second daughter. More than three decades later, it is that daughter, Claudia Bonilla, who now runs the business. Our restaurant is a true family business: through the years, the Bonillas have always put their heart and soul into México Lindo.
We thank our customers for their loyalty, friendship, good times and support. With Antonio's "old school" traditions and Claudia's twist on things, we look forward to continuing to give New Yorkers the very best.
